The Spanish hotel chain H10 will invest $ 250 million to hotel invesment in Jamaica. The new hotel will have a capacity of 1,000 rooms.

H10 hotel company has many hotels in countries such as Cuba, Mexico and Dominican Republic. The hotel company will open its new hotel in Jamaica. Construction of the first 500 rooms of the hotel began. The hotel will be called Ocean Coral Spring Hotel.


The H10 chain of hotels recently opened a hotel with 618 rooms in the Dominican Republic. This year, also, the company opened another hotel called El beso in Punta Cana.

“The Government continues to champion investment for the revitalization of existing tourism assets and the creation of new tourism infrastructure across the island,” said Jamaica Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett.

According to experts, Spanish hotel companies have a huge impact on the development of Jamaica’s tourism.

“Based on my many meetings with Spanish hotel interests, I know we share the importance of tourism and development,”

Bartlett said. “We look forward to the contribution that H10’s properties will make to the sustainable growth of Falmouth’s tourism, your integration into the town and the linkages you will foster with our business community.”
