Both the name and aesthetic direction of the development were inspired by a particular terracotta feature brick, which references back to the red brickwork of the site’s original warehouse and surrounding heritage buildings. This triangular-shaped cut-out terracotta block was used to create a unique contemporary screen wall between the building’s façade and the street, throwing visually interesting shadows into the residences.
