Ziad Al Bassam who is the Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of Al Bassam Group said that they decided to set up a fund with Sumou Holding in Saudi Arabia to invest real estate industry at Turkey.
He added :’ We will realize various real estate investments and collaborate with some public companies in Turkey.This fund will be worth $ 1 Billion.’
Ziad Al Bassam who spoke in ‘Gulf Cooperation’ private session at the International Investment Summit stated that Saudi Arabia’s firms want to sign more cooperation with Turkish companies in the petrochemistry and energy industries as well as real estate.
Ibrahim Al Assaf who is the represantative of Saudi Artabia based firm Sumou Holding said that at the same session they have made several feasibility studies to invest in real estate and energy sectors for three years.
Al Assaf sadi:’We made researches and investigated many projects.We think that Turkey is the attractive investment country.Especially we are tending to invest in construction and real estate at Istanbul and around the region.We are waiting for Turkish investors to Saudi Arabia.’
