AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets (“AXA IM – Real Assets”), a global leader in real asset investments and the leading(1) real estate portfolio and asset manager in Europe, announced that Sven Krumpholz has been appointed as Head of Asset Management & Transactions in Germany. Based in Cologne, he will report directly to Andrew Stainer, Global Head of Asset Management, and will join Christoph Moelleken, Head of Fund Management, in heading the Real Assets business in Germany.

Apart from specifically heading up the Asset Management, Development and Transactions business in Germany and amongst other initiatives, Sven Krumpholz will be responsible for leading the effort to build exposure to the residential sector, working closely with and coordinating the efforts of the Transactions, Development, Asset Management, Fund Management and Operations teams. Sven Krumpholz has been with AXA IM – Real Assets for five years in the role of Head of Asset Management Germany, and brings more than 20 years’ direct experience working in the German real estate market.
