The groundbreaking ceremony of the long-awaited Ellen DeGeneres Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Campus will begin next week. However, officials say the campus can create more than 1,500 jobs in the construction process.

Felix Ndagijimana, director of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International, per We estimate that 1,500 jobs will be created ($ 40). In addition, we estimate that $ 2.5 million of the site will be held within 250 miles of the site, we said.

Last year, Ellen, a famous American TV show show host and comedian, was given a campus gift by his longtime partner Portia de Rossi. This gift will then begin his first trip to Rwanda to physically witness Ellen’s unparalleled efforts to protect the late Dian Fossey’s mountain gorillas.

The campus will host the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, which has been operating in Rwanda for more than 50 years, through the Karisoke Research Center in the Musanze Region in the Northern Province. Fossey Fund, the world’s longest and largest organization, devoted entirely to the protection of gorillas. The campus will officially open in early 2021.
