Hilton Antakya Museum Hotel which planned as a city hotel initially, has become a museum hotel project due to revealing of historical artifacts in conclusion of drilling works.


“130 thousand cubic meters excavation were made during the eightt months with 160 workers and 30 archaeologists in the construction site.We worked with Hatay Archeleogy Museum experts.” said Aydın Duran, general manager of the Hilton Antakya Museum Hotel.

“We aim to exhibit historical artifacts without destroyed.Therefore 90 percent of the project is designed as steel construction.The project is being built on 17,000 square meters of land.The hotel includes 15 suite rooms.We designed all walking ways to be seen of historical artifacts.” he added.

It is stated that it would be a lot of historical artifacts that belongs to 13 different period like the Hellenistic Period, the Ancient Rome Period,the Byzantine Period and the Islamic period in the museum.
