In one-year period between November 2012 and November 2013, while the housing prices throughout Turkey have risen by 13,32, the highest increase was in İstanbul by 17,06%. According to “Real Estate Sector Assessment 2013” report that is released by REIDIN, due to rapid population growth for years in Turkey, Cultural change as a result of divided families, urbanization, rising income levels and increasing of living standards, the demand for real estates increase day by day.
Due to its links with the Land market, building materials, tools, equipment, consumer durables and labor market, housing has great importance in terms of the economic revival of country.
According to “Property Index” that is released by REIDIN, In one-year period between November 2012 and November 2013, while the housing prices throughout Turkey have risen by 13,32, the highest increase was in İstanbul by 17,06%. The lowest increase was in Kocaeli by 5,08%. İstanbul is followed by Adana with 12,06% and by İzmir with 10,51%.
