There is booming in sales of housing in this year. Thanks to law of reciprocity, urban transformation and 2B law, there was 700 thousand sales in sector in previous year. This figure has reched 900 thousand in the first 9 months of this year. It is estimated that, this figure will surpass 1 million at the end of the 2013.
The stocks of lands have decreased by investing of foreigners in Turkey. As prices of cement, ready-mix concrete, and land prices increased, thus representative of sector estimate that, housing prices will increase by 30% in 2014.
Chairman of Özyurt construction Tamer Özyurt said that, material prices have increased by 25%-30%. By the influence of foreign investors, sales have accelerated. Due to the increase in the cost, new projects’ prices will be higher. Because the prices of iron showed increase by 25%, cement and ready-mix concrete prices by 35%. Especially the number of lands decrease in İstanbul.
