Hyatt Hotel to open a wellness center in Texas
The Miraval spa, a subsidiary of the Hyatt hotel brand, and the wellness brand Austin, also opened in Texas.
The brand’s first wellness center is located in Austin, near Lake Travis. The wellness center opened in Texas became the brand’s second center in the country.
It has 117 residential rooms and suites. Apart from these, the Balance Spa is a Living, 10-acre farm and a Living area with Farm and Balance Kitchen Kitchen. The mansion rooms and suites were designed by Hart Howerton. Guest rooms feature bespoke furnishings, specially selected fabrics and local, handmade accessories and artwork. The rooms are designed for a healthy sleep by offering a comfortable sleeping area. Each room has Zents’ bathroom amenities.
Balcones was inspired by the Canyonlands Preserve. The 20,000 square meter facility has 30 treatment rooms, a spa pool, relaxation rooms, a lounge, a sauna, a steam room and a spa retail boutique.
Other than that, the brand offers many different images in the other wellness center Miaval Austin. The facilities of Miaval Austin include a 5-acre Size Body Center, fitness studio, and 10-acre Cypress Creek Organic Farm, which offers fresh products for the spa.
Hyatt acquired the Miraval brand in January 2017. Miraval operates as an independent brand in Hyatt’s portfolio.
