IHG signs an agreement with Thailand for Voco
IHG signs an agreement with Thailand for Voco. The IHG group signed an agreement with Voco, a newly built company in Bangkok, Thailand, a first in southeast Asia.
Planned to open in 2021, Voco Bangkok Sukhumvit will have a swimming pool and bar in 300 residential rooms. This will have a fitness center and a meeting room for 400 people.
“Bangkok represents an excellent launch market for one of the newest additions to our brand portfolio,” said Clarence Tan, managing director, Southeast Asia and Korea, IHG. “This signing continues the accelerated growth of the Voco brand since we launched it last June.”
B & G Estate Co. A company based in Bangkong and plans to expand its portfolio. The Voco brand will open a facility in Bangkok for the first time. The first Voco brand plant was opened in Australia.
IHG, Thailand, develops more than 24 hotels operating under the brands InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Hotel Indigo.
