Global real estate advisory firms JLL, has been appointed as an advisor for the developement of the latest cultural atraction in Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan, a unique cultural landmark housed within the presidential compound.

Qasr Al Watan will offer visitors the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the UAE’s governing traditions and values, as well as the role that the emirates continues to play in shaping the future of the nation.

JLL said in statement, “The new landmark will also attract visitors to explore the well preserved intellectual legacy of the Arab world, and its constributions to various fields of knowledge.

JLL launched its project in March. The project design and construction managers worked on an array of elements including the visitor car park, public park, security infrastructure, foos and beverages (F&B) and retail outlets besides the visitor centre, public library, exhibit installations and a state-of-the-art 3D mapped projection, light and sound show.

Benjamin Jackson, the head of Project Development Services for Middle East and North Africa (Mena) said: “JLL is committed to supporting the UAE’s vision and strategic plan in promoting cross-cultural dialogue and intellectual empowerment across the Middle East.”
