Megaresort development to be broken ground
The foundation of megaresort development, which was planned for a long time, was laid in Jamaica.
The so-called Amaterra development will be one of the largest all-inclusive resorts in the country. The resort will be located in the center of the fast-growing Trelawny community near Montego Bay.

The first phase of the project will have 1,200 rooms spread over three properties. The project will include a 400-key adult resort. There will also be a family resort with 400 keys.
The project will be built under the leadership of Keith Russell of Jamaica. The resort will be one of the most remarkable facilities in the Caribbean, including Secrets Cap Cana.
The project will include entertainment and shopping complex, water park, various pools and other facilities as well as areas like a spa.
