Meininger plans to build new hotels in German cities like Stuttgart and Bremen.

Meininger Hotels signed an agreement to open two new hotels in Stuttgart and Bremen in accordance with the German expansion plan.

The project will be constructed in Stuttgart and will have a total area of 6.900 m². The scheme in Stuttgart will have 156 rooms and 20 parking places.

The hotel will be built close to the city’s main attractions such as the New Palace, the Porsche Museum, the Mercedes-Benz Museum, the zoological and botanical garden Wilhelma, the market hall, the Karlshohe ridge and the Neckar Park. The hotel is aimed to open in the autumn of 2021.

Also, the hotel in Bremen will be built in collaboration with the Buhlmann Immobilien. The development will consist of 5.100 m² and will offer 126 rooms. The construction of the building, which is expected to be eleven floors, will be completed in 2022.

Both hotels will offer single, double and multi-bedroom. In both developments, the guest kitchen and playground will be available in both hotels.

“We are very well set up for these two cities with our hybrid hotel concept,” states Doros Theodorou, CCO of Meininger Hotels.

Hannes Spanring CEO of Meininger Hotels commented: “Stuttgart is a city with compelling cultural and historical attractions and is considered as one of the strongest export metropolitan regions in Germany. The economic strength of the city is impressive and also of great importance for tourism. The demand for accommodation of business and individual travellers is relatively balanced due to international companies and Stuttgart’s globally important convention centre. Our hotel concept will be able to serve this market very well.

“The historic Schnoorviertel and the town hall are landmarks for the significance of the Hanseatic city and its moving history. These and many other sights and unique places attract increasing numbers of visitors to the city on the Weser every year. The proximity to long-distance bus and train connections is perfect for our future hotel guests. The Meininger Hotel Bremen completes the area around the central station and the new FBT,” added Spanring.
