MUSIAD expects higher growth rate than 2013 in Turkey!

Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD) has announced the survey results that has made to determine the past year evaluations and expectations for New Year. According to the statement, in 2014, growth expectations are predicted over than 2013.

Association remarked that the resolving of the economic uncertainty in Europe will influence positively the Turkey’s economy especially through foreign trade. “Both in the eyes of international institutions and MUSIAD, the growth expectations in this year will be over than 2013 expectations.”

That has been expressed in the statement, Turkey is growing faster than Eurozone countries, “A positive development has been occurred in the investments of private sector. Private sector investments were affecting the growth in the negative way for last 6 quarters but it increased 5,3 percent in the third quarter of 2013”

“In parallel with these, current account deficit remains on the agenda. At the end of October, current account deficit was the level of $51,9 billion in the 10-months period. In the 2013, 80 percent of our members have preserved their conditions or improved their firms.”
