Published a report explaining the real estate values of the Norfolk County region of America. William O Donnell from Norfolk County Register of Deeds issued a report examining the real estate development of the region from January.

“During January, there were 27 properties (both residential and commercial) sold in Westwood. The average price for all these properties was $920,500. There were 0 foreclosure deeds filed during the month. However, there was one notice to foreclose mortgage filed in January, which is the first step in the foreclosure process,” stated O’Donnell.

“Regarding lending activity,” stated O’Donnell, “a total of 40 mortgages were recorded against Westwood properties during the month. Total borrowing for the month came in at $18,935,111.”

O’Donnell added “The Homestead law provides limited protection against the forced sale of an individual’s home up to $500,000. I strongly urge Westwood residents to consider this consumer protection too.”

O’Donnell is one of the assurances of Westwood property owners to the Consumer Notification Service. Through this service, consumers can control their property.
