Oman’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) is set to launch an international tender for Phase Two of the country’s pavilion at the upcoming Expo 2020 Dubai event.

The pavilion will located in Expo’s Mobility district. It is designed to resemble a frankincense tree. The pavilion will feature five zones, illustrating how frankincense contributed to Omani advancements in transportation, knowledge, manufacturing, sustainability and exploration.

Phase One of the project included services related to preliminary design, development, production and supervision of the content of the pavilion. Additively, phase two includes supervision of the construction, furnishing and equipping the pavilion, and then decommissioning, removal and disposal of the materials and the waste, in addition to the full management of the project.

Oman had revealed the design of its pavilion last November. The sultanate will be taking part in the mega event alongside regional and international organisations from 190 countries from October 20, next year to April 10, 2021.
