Paris, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, faces a land case. The long-standing Stoner Creek Golf Course land of case is expected to result. The value of the land is $ 650,000 million.

The Paris City Commission handed the 47-acre golf course to an investment group for free. The investment group plans to establish a liquor factory on the land.

The agreement was signed before Mayor Mike Thornton resigned from his post. The contract between the two parties shows that the investment group does not have to pay the city for property unless it fails to build a distillery within three years of the zoning change for the property.

Previously on the golf course, the people had reacted to the decision and had filed a lawsuit. If those who live on the golf course win the case, the investment group will return the land.

“We still have a lot of questions and a lot of concerns on how the outcome’s going to be,” said John Vance, Wyndamere Homeowners Association President.

The next case will be seen on February 5th.
