TAV hits to the top of airport construction sector in Riga

TAV Construction, sister company of TAV Airports specializing in construction, was officially ranked as the world’s largest construction company in “Airport Construction” category by one of the most respectable publications of the sector, Engineering News Record (ENR). TAV’s subsidiary companies, TAV Latvia and Havas Europe manages the commercial areas and operates the major part of ground handling services at Riga International Airport respectively, reported BC Linda Anaite.
ENR is a weekly magazine that provides news, analysis, data and opinion for the construction industry worldwide and annually ranks the largest contractors and design firms in the world. Having become one of the leaders of the airport construction industry in a short period following a rapid growth through the projects it realized in Turkey and in the countries within the region, TAV Construction is now the world’s largest company in the airport construction field with total revenue of 1.245.800.000 USD in 2014. The total contract value of the projects that TAV Construction has undertaken so far has exceeded 16.2 billion USD.
