The Cadillac Fairview and the Ontario Investment Management Company will rent the 33-story Toronto Front Street tower. The company has 160 floors. W. will occupy an area of 840,000 square meters in 33 of 46 floors of office projects.

In addition, TD will take ownership ownership in the building, which is planned to be completed in 2022. When the office tower is completed, it will have 1.2 million square meters of office space and 12,290 square meters of retail space.

“It’s not every day that an organization has the chance to design, from the ground up, a new kind of workplace,” said Paul Whitehead, SVP Enterprise Real Estate with TD, in the statement. “The tower at 160 Front Street West will create a free-range, open-concept campus experience, and reimagine the work experience for our colleagues. This is a key part of our GTA real estate strategy to transform the way our employees work.”
