The signing ceremony of new generation training aircraft ‘Hürkuş’ was carried out in Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. Premises.
Defense Industry Undersecretary Murad Bayar added: Yhe aviation work of Turkey began in the early years of the republic. We’ve made a good start in aviation but did not bring more. Nuri Demirağ Vecihi Hürkuş tried to do something with their own capital. As the conditions of the country were not good at that time, hence they couldn’t continue to carry their works.
He pointed out that, the culture of aviation must be developed in Turkey. The production of those aircrafts are very important success for Turkey. The delivery of aircrafts is planned to be done within 48 months.
