Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız on Wednesday met Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Qatari capital Doha.
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız said that, Turkey will purchase natural gas worth 350 million dollars.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız on Wednesday met Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Qatari capital Doha.
Mr. Erdoğan has stated that, we have order natural gas in order to meet the energy needs of the country’s from Qatar during the winter.
Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız remarked that, Qatar is the world leading countries in the field of liquefied energy. We have given orders in order to meet our natural gas needs in December, January and February. We have agreed upon that. Worth 350 million dollars natural gas will be pruchased from Qatar.
Also A cooperation agreement in energy was also signed between the Electricity Production Company from Turkey and Qatar Holding, this is also really important agreement in terms of Turkey, Mr. Yıldız said.
