Calendar adjusted industrial production index of Turkey increased 4.7 percent in November 2013 compared to November 2012, while seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production index rose by 2.9 percent compared to October, 2013.
TurkStat, Turkey’s statistical authority, announced on Wednesday the figures of the Industrial Production Index for November 2013.
In the sub sectors of the industry (based on 2010=100), while mining and quarrying index increased 1.7 percent and manufacturing index increased 3.6 percent, electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index decreased 1.4 percent in November 2013, compared to October 2013.

In November 2013, In the sub sectors of the industry (based on 2010=100), while mining and quarrying index decreased 8.9 percent, manufacturing index increased 5.6 percent and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply index rose 4.8 percent, compared to November 2012.
According to the Main Industrial Groupings (MIGs) classification, the largest increase was in intermediate goods by 4.5 percent in November of 2013, compared to the previous month.
