Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan said that, new projects which are in Russia and Algeria that are locomotive markets of construction sector, raise the level of the success of the Turkish construction industry.
Mr.Çağlayan has made assessment about success of the Turkish construction sector in 2013. Turkey’s construction sector is ranked 2nd place by 38 companies amoung the world’s largest 250 contracting firms. The success of Turkish construction has no coincidence.
The construction sector has undertaken 235 projects in the January-November period. The cost of those projects were 23,7 billion dollars. So Turkish construction sector has carried out 7 thousand 303 project around world. Thoso projects cost were 263,8 billion dollars.
