A Turkish delegation, led by its Vice-Minister of Economy, Adnan Yildirim, is arriving this week in Luanda, to participate in a business forum to be held in one of the hotels in the capital of Angola.

A note from the Embassy of Angola in Turkey, which reached Angop on Monday, indicates that the visit of the Turkish delegation to Angola is part of the strengthening of political, diplomatic and cooperation relations between the two countries.

It adds that the Turkish delegation is comprised of 65 businessmen from various sectors of the economy.

For the forum, it was invited all interested Angolan companies, particularly those relating to the industrial, trade, fisheries, construction, information technology, ship construction, services and tourism, states the document.

Angola and Turkey established diplomatic relations in 1980. Both have signed a general agreement on trade matters governing the global cooperation framework.

There are also agreements in the fields of air transport.
