Turkish Patent Institute will open a patent office within the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association in Ankara

Aeronautical industry inventions will be protected under a new agreement signed between the Turkish Patent Institute (TPE) and the University of Turkish Aeronautical Association (UTAA), on Monday.  

The Turkish Patent Institute will open a patent office within the university to ensure effective cooperation over industrial property rights. The agreement between the two institutes was signed by President of TPE, Habib Asan and the Rector of UTAA, Unsal Ban. 

Turkish Patent Institute has an essential role to improve information, said TPE president Habib Asan. “It is also very important to reach Turkey’s 2023 goals, such as creating twenty global brands and attaining 500 billion dollars of export.”

2023 will mark the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic and it is set as the deadline for many financial, political, and social targets.

TPE was founded in 1994 to provide effective protection and widespread usage of industrial property rights ensuring that Turkish industry and technology plays a leading role in global competition.
